Who operates this site.
The independent MicroDuck Robot Community site editors operate this website. Use our contact form for privacy requests. We are separate from the robot manufacturer and linked project authors.
Accounts and essential services.
Clerk handles registration, identity verification, authentication sessions and account security. Cloudflare hosts the site and stores community records in D1. We store your verified primary email, Clerk account identifier, public display name, account role and status, and relevant timestamps. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
Authentication cookies are essential to signed-in features. Your reading list, followed discussions and submissions are saved with your account. Browser preferences and the optional DIY checklist stay on your device. Clerk and Cloudflare may process security and connection information to deliver these services.
Public contributions.
Your chosen public display name, discussion posts, replies and approved contributions are public. Your email, unpublished drafts and support messages are restricted to you or site editors as appropriate. Do not include personal data in a public post. Unreviewed contributions are not published automatically.
Optional analytics.
Google Analytics is loaded only if you accept analytics cookies. You can reject or withdraw consent using Cookie settings in the footer. We use aggregate page and feature events to understand which guides and tools help readers. We do not deliberately send email addresses, public names, message text, search queries, authentication tokens or account identifiers to analytics. Google may process cookie identifiers and device information when analytics is enabled.
Retention and requests.
We keep account and community records while needed to provide the service. Requests to access, correct or delete account data can be sent through the contact form. We verify the request before changing private data. Public threads may be anonymized where needed to preserve other contributors’ replies. We review resolved support records for removal after 90 days. Rate-limit identifiers are salted, change hourly and expire within two hours.
Providers and transfers.
Our service providers may process information internationally. Their policies explain their own processing: Clerk privacy policy, Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy. Linked external sites operate under their own policies.
